The Asian American experience has been discussed and picked apart more than ever in recent years and yet can so often be flattened by inaccurate monolithic portrayals. Thank you so much Christina! I totally agree about the flattening of narratives. I think one of the best ways to fight that is to convey that through art making whether that be through writing or illustration.
